Today marks the first day of the meteorlogical spring, but it sure doesn't feel like it as much of northern Wisconsin is under wind chill advisories. This is because winds are coming out of the north bringing colder air. Temperature is 14 F and dew point is 7 F. Skies are overcast and humidity is 70%. This was interesting because we have a stream of water vapor stretching from Texas to the great lakes. This was really interesting because it looks like it's being carried north from the equator which makes sense because more evaporation is occuring. Here is the geostationary satellite showing the effect i'm talking about.
