March 25, 2014

Yesterday we experienced an alberta clipper. Due to the sub polar jet we are going to have colder temperatures over the next few days. Snow storms are expected to hit the northeast as water vapor off the coast of South Carolina contribute to the low inland from it and head up the northern latitudes. Here in the midwest were also getting winds from the northwest around 10 mph that contribute to the cold weather. We might see a system currently over Oregon and Washington give us some precipitation later this week as the high pressure moves past us.
